I bought this boat to restore it and find myself physically not able to complete it. The hull is VERY sound as is the transom. Flooring is redone and filled with foam for buoyancy. Everything below the water line has been professionally sealed and I coated it inside and out with Gluvit two part epoxy. It does not leak. I am asking $2500 or Best REASONABLE Offer.
It sits on a Wesco trailer that was purchased and fitted to the boat by Allen's marine. The trailer is two years old has only three trips to Santee on it. It alone was $2,000.
This boat needs a nice paint job and carpeting to be a great fishing boat. Star Craft "V" bottom boats are extremely stable and make excellent fishing platforms.
The boat has a 1975 Evinrude 115 on it. It probably needs a tune up and I am willing to reflect that in the price. It ran like a scalded dog that last time it was on Lake Marion!
Windshields are off as are some other trim to make it more fishing friendly but I have all of those items.
There is also an older, long shaft trolling motor, three marine batteries, an large aluminum and a five gallon plastic gas tank, several life jackets, a motor stand for the trolling motor, anchor, running cups for the motor, blue Bimini top, etc.
The boat needs a good home with someone who wants a tough, reliable and stable boat for big water but I am no longer able to work on it.
If you are interested and local, we can make arrangements for you to see the boat. South side of Florence.
